Lift

A breast lift can raise and reshape breasts, rejuvenating your contours and helping you look your best in and out of clothes. It offers a new lease of life to a drooping, 'deflated' shape after significant weight loss, pregnancy and childbirth, and combats the forces of gravity and ageing.

During consultation: Your surgeon will advise on and plan your mastopexy to achieve your desired result. How long it would take and the likely cost can only be determined after consultation with, and examination by one of our surgeons. During the consultation you can view before and after photos showing the results and quality of our work. You can also take home an information pack to read, so you are fully informed before making any decision.

During surgery: A full breast lift involves an incision along the crease underneath the breast, incisions around the areola, and a vertical incision between the areola and the base of the breast. This traditional technique is still widely used today because it consistently produces a great shape and position of the breast on the chest wall. Excess skin is removed, the breast is elevated and the size of the areola may be reduced. The procedure may be done alone, or combined with augmentation to add volume.

To lift specific, mild sagging, a modified mastopexy limits incisions to the outer border of the areola area. These less invasive mastopexy procedures are less traumatic than a full breast lift, yet produce excellent results for the right patients.
